Malisa + Mat | Sunflower Field Engagement | Washington DC Wedding Photography

Malisa and Mat told me that they would love to have an engagement session at a sunflower field and they have been scouting locations for several places that would still have sunflowers in full bloom when we were shooting this session. Our choices nearby DMV area are quite limited during the time of the shoot so we set out for a road trip and head to the beautiful Clear Meadow Farm north of Baltimore. Coming up with this shoot, Malisa and Mat want to incorporate elements from their first date at Elevation Burger, their favorite movie (Fred and Ginger), their long-distance relationship (reading to each other) and their favorite activities (painting, lego, bikes and etc..). They poured their hearts into making this photo shoot happened the way they envisioned and the efforts really did pay off! Congrats Malisa and Mat, you guys are such a wonderful couple and we can clearly see your love shine through these images and we can’t help smiling a lot looking at them! We can’t wait for the big day in June 2017!
