Raeva + Shervin | Washington DC Indian Wedding Ceremony

It was such an absolutely gorgeous day in late August when Raeva and Shervin got married. Actually, the whole week was filled with festivities that fuse both Indian and Persian cultures and our team had the pleasure to document the whole festivities spanning across the four days. The first part of the blog post includes photographs from the Hindu wedding ceremony that took place Raeva’s parents’ home in Potomac, Maryland. Raeva told us that the ceremony at her parents’ house was very special as it is a tradition not many people do anymore, opting instead for event or hotel venues. There is something special about entering your new life at your family’s home.
