Every wedding is so unique and every bride and groom have different needs. We craft these collections to accommodate our client’s need for ethnic / multi-cultural weddings that are usually longer and can span across multiple days. Clients are required to book the main wedding collection for the main wedding day and then can purchase hourly rate from either primary photographer (Nat) or experienced associate photographer.
The number of hours specified in the base collection is the number of continuous hours (starting from the time we take the first photograph until the last photo of the day is taken) for that particular day only and cannot be split across multiple days. One continuous period of break time is allowed and won’t be counted towards the total number of hours.
If you are planning for a multi-day weekend (Fri, Sat or Sun or holiday) wedding but each day requires coverage less than 10 hours (as in the base package) or have gap hours between ceremony and reception, we allow booking multiple weekend dates if the number of total hours combined across all days meet the minimum requirement. The prices below include everything described in the base wedding collection but extend coverage to span across multiple weekend/holiday dates. In this case, one continuous gap hours (per day) is allowed and will not be counted towards the period of coverage.
Please kindly note that the examples above are the scenario that you are hiring Nat Wongsaroj as a primary photographer for all dates. Alternatively, you can also purchase the base wedding collection as described above to use Nat Wongsaroj as a primary photographer for one day and hire one of our lead associate photographers to cover other events (as described in “coverage for other events on another day”).
Example 1: If you are planning a wedding ceremony on Friday and a wedding reception on Saturday. The number of hours combined on Friday and Saturday must be at least 14 hours ($7,000 for 14 hours and hours can be split however you want between Friday and Saturday). If you decide to also add an event on Thursday, you can add hourly coverage as described in “coverage for other events on another day” (hourly weekday rate for other events).
Example 2: If you are planning a 3-day wedding on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We do require that you use us for at least 18 hours within the 3 days and the cost will be $9,000
Example 3a : You are planning a Sangeet on Friday and a wedding on Saturday and need photography service for 2 hours on Friday, 7 hours on Saturday’s morning and 5 hours on Saturday’s evening for reception and there is a gap of 3 hours between the ending of ceremony photography coverage and the beginning of reception photography coverage. The pricing will be $7,500* (for a total of 15 hours) and you are allowed to have one continuous gap time on Saturday between ceremony coverage and reception coverage.
Example 3b: Let’s assume that you have the exactly the same requirement as in example 3a but you are hiring our lead associate photographer for the Sangeet instead of hiring Nat Wongsaroj. In this case, the pricing will be the total of $6,850* ( $650 for Sangeet coverage, $5,900 for 12 hours of coverage and $300 fee for having a gap time) However, if you do not have the gap time, the total pricing will be $650 + $5,900 = $6,550*. In this scenario, if Nat Wongsaroj ends up being available on the Sangeet date, photography coverage on Sangeet date will be provided by Nat Wongsaroj.
Example 4: You are planning a Mehendi on Thursday, a ceremony on Friday and a reception on Saturday. Assuming you are hiring us 3 hours, 7 hours and 7 hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday respective. The pricing will be $400*3 (for Thursday) + $7,000 (14 hours for a 2-day weekend wedding for Friday and Saturday) and the total will be $8,200*.
We do offer discounted pricing for an engagement session for our wedding clients. The rate is discounted as we do strongly encourage our wedding clients to have a chance to work with us before the wedding day.
** Experienced photographers are photographers who have several years of experiences photographing weddings and have been working with us for several years.
